Hello, I am Larisa Barkovskaia

I´m a versatile (full stack) Global Talent Acquisition Manager and HR Consultant with more than 15 years of HR experience in international corporations and start-ups across various industry sectors: FMCG, IT, Consulting, FinTech, RegTech, and e-commerce.

My core expertise: Global Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, Scaling up tech teams and business in Europe, International Tech Recruiting and Sourcing.

In 2021, after completing a Master's Degree in International HR Management and Leadership I obtained a Management Consulting Licence in Austria and founded my own consulting firm.

 

I offer HR consulting services tailored to international tech start-ups' needs, work agile, and design and implement scalable recruitment solutions.

My current focus is fast-growing tech start-ups/scale-ups consulting on IT talent attraction and retention strategies during the hyper-growth and transformation stage, including planning, project management, and hands-on full-cycle recruitment for tech & product roles.

I was born in Russia, live in Austria, work remotely worldwide, and love to travel.

 

I'm passionate about growing tech start-ups and connecting them with the right talent. I enjoy partnering with founders, senior managers, and HR Leaders, helping them to scale the team and the company culture globally.

Founded a Management Consulting firm in Austria to support international companies and startups to attract and retain top IT Talent

2020

Graduated from FHV with a Master Degree in International HR Management & Ledership. Decided to start my own business

2019

Started working as a HR manager at a tech startup's headquarters and studied International Human Resources Management in Austria

2018

Promoted to a Global Talent Aqusition and Employer Branding Manager role at JTI HQ, Geneva

2016

Moved from Russia to Austria with my husband and 2 small kids

2007

Promoted to a Comp&Ben and Global Mobility Manager. Later, I held roles of Head of Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding and Head of Talent Management

2005

Started my career journey as an HR associate at international company (JTI) in Russia

I am a persuasive, enthusiastic and confident communicator with a strong cross-cultural sensitivity. I easily connect and create the relationships of trust with any stakeholder from technical professionals to C level executives. 

 

I engage with my client´s business, work with dedication and commitment as a part of a team, striving to achieve and exceed expectations of the business leaders. Team work, open communication and feedback culture are very important to me.

 

I love to learn new things and work with data, always searching for ways of improvement and optimization.
